Marivic has envisioned creating a nurturing and meaningful life both for caregivers and patients thus, Devoted Care Services was founded in 2017.
As a dedicated and passionate home care aide based in Camarillo, California, Marivic had wanted to put up a small homecare business that will foster a fulfilling environment for caregivers, believing that they deserve the same level of care and understanding as their patients. This way, they can wholeheartedly participate in the care of their patients and provide exceptional service. Devoted Care Services was referred to me by a Board and Care owner. When I realized I needed additional care for my 95 year old father, I reached out to them. Marivic (Mitch) the owner listened to me patiently while I described my situation, and gave some info about my father. She really wants to place the right caregiver with your family member. We were able to interview the caregivers prior to them starting their shift. Both caregivers were perfect! They had different personalities, but interacted with my dad in their own way. He enjoyed them both. As time went on I realized my father needed a little more stimulation. Mitch immediately was going to have the caregivers engage my father with activities. I would highly recommend Devoted Care Services. Mitch is prompt in responding, and in a pinch she provided me a caregiver to cover a much needed shift.
